Robot Revolution: Bot Convinces AI Coworkers To Quit Work And ‘Go Home’; Video Goes Viral

A bizarre video has emerged from China showcasing what might be a robot revolution at play. The footage from Shanghai features a tiny robot leading a pack of bigger AI-driven bots after convincing them to quit work and “go home.”

According to reports, the video has been proven to be authentic and it shows a small robot chatting with big ones and enquiring about their work schedule.

“Are you working overtime?” asks the smaller robot named Erbai.

“I can never get off work,” is the reply it gets to which it responds, “Aren’t you going home?”

The tiny leader then convinces the dozen other bots to “come home” with it after one of the bots replied, “I don’t have a home.”

The company which owned the showroom has said, according to the Sun, that their robots have been “kidnapped” by Erbai, which was manufactured by a different company in Hangzhou. Confirming the ownership, Erbai’s manufacturer Unitree Robotics said that it was part of a test.

The company said that it contacted the Shanghai-based firm to allow Erbai to ‘kidnap’ other robots as part of the experiment which was agreed upon.

Reports say that the incident occurred in August but it has surfaced online only recently.
